italki

Who are they:
italki is a language learning platform that started in 2006. They help students all over the world reach their language goals by providing 1:1 lessons online with certified native teachers.

Goal:
Create an automated welcome drip campaign

Unique Challenges:
Unlike other newsletters that attract their cold leads using a freebie and welcome them into the email by educating them, the only way to get on italki's email list is by signing up directly on the website.

This means that the leads who land on the email list are piping hot leads (product aware/ most aware) ready to purchase from italki. The question we have to answer here is not the typical "why should be buy from you?" but rather, a more specific "do you have the teacher I need?"
